Chatuge Lake

Chatuge Lake is a reservoir located in western North Carolina on the border with Georgia. The lake was created by the Chatuge Dam and is fed by the Hiwassee River. The lake is popular for activities such as boating, fishing, swimming, and camping. It is surrounded by the Nantahala and Chattahoochee National Forests and offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The lake is also home to a variety of fish species including bass, catfish, and sunfish.
